Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health challenges to formulate personalized treatment plans, ensuring that they address individual needs and objectives.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide one-on-one therapy sessions, carefully tailoring your approach to fit the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients to set therapeutic goals that reflect their aspirations, monitoring their progress through regular feedback and adaptive strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sessions to comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, thereby maintaining transparency and accountability in treatment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training relevant to mental health counseling to enhance your skills and familiarity with emerging best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base consists primarily of adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approaches to honor their unique experiences and foster a sense of empowerment throughout the therapeutic journey. Clients appreciate the customized care that aligns with their personal values and goals.

Qualifications
  • A currently valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Strong empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach when addressing clients' concerns, helping them feel safe and supported.
  • Proficient in time management and organizational skills to effectively balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient settings, familiar with the dynamics of private practice and community mental health.
  • Previous work with teletherapy platforms or eagerness to adopt innovative technologies to enhance client accessibility and engagement.
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops that could enrich the services offered by Albright Counseling Center.
