We are seeking a motivated, experienced Sales Success Manager to lead, develop, and grow our sales organization. This position is ideal for a proven sales leader who enjoys building teams, improving sales processes, developing people, and driving measurable growth.

The Position

As the Sales Success Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our existing sales team while building the systems, processes, training, and accountability needed to support continued growth.

You will work closely with our sales representatives, homebuilder partners, customers, operations teams, and company leadership to increase sales performance while maintaining the high level of customer service KPS is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop the existing KPS sales team.
  • Establish clear sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability.
  • Develop sales representatives through ongoing coaching, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales and customer-relationship team members.
  • Assess, develop, and improve sales processes to make selling easier, more consistent, and more effective.
  • Implement systems and tools that improve lead management, follow-up, sales conversion, customer communication, and reporting.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with homebuilder partners, contractors, property managers, developers, and other KPS customers.
  • Help sales representatives build long-term customer relationships and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual company sales targets.
  • Monitor individual and team sales performance, pipelines, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact through installation and post-installation follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, design, installation, operations, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of KPS products, services, technology, and competitive advantages.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new products, market opportunities, and competitive activity.
  • Help develop sales strategies for both existing markets and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales success with experience managing, coaching, or developing sales professionals.
  • Alarm, security, low-voltage, smart-home, homebuilder, construction, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships within the alarm, security, homebuilding, construction, or low-voltage industries are a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and improve sales teams and sales processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate people and create accountability.
  • A driven, entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who enjoys building and growing a business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer relationship and business-development skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, sales reporting, and other technology to manage performance.
  • Ability and willingness to learn the technical products and services KPS sells, installs, monitors, and supports.
  • Ability to understand technical product information and communicate it effectively to both the sales team and customers.
