General Superintendent – Hyperscale Data Center Construction

Northwest Indiana | Travel Required


We're partnered with a rapidly growing, fully integrated real estate investment and construction organization that is expanding its mission-critical construction division. They are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations on a flagship hyperscale data center project based in Northwest Indiana.


The company is actively delivering greenfield and brownfield hyperscale data center projects across Colorado, Indiana, Alabama, and Tennessee, with project values ranging from $500M to $1B+.


The Role

As the General Superintendent, you will lead all on-site construction operations, driving safety, quality, productivity, and schedule on one of the nation's premier mission-critical construction projects. This is an opportunity to join a team delivering some of the largest data center developments in the country while playing a critical leadership role in field execution.


Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations on a large-scale hyperscale data center project.
  • Oversee subcontractor coordination, manpower planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
  • Drive a best-in-class safety culture across the jobsite.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, project specifications, and schedule milestones.
  • Partner closely with Project Management to maintain production goals and project objectives.
  • Coordinate inspections, commissioning activities, and project turnover.
  • Proactively resolve field issues while maintaining productivity.
  • Mentor and develop field supervision teams.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and project stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • 15+ years of construction supervision experience, including experience as a Superintendent or General/Senior Superintendent.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, or data center projects.
  • Experience leading projects valued at $500M or greater is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site in Northwest Indiana.
