Cymertek Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Linux / Unix Systems Administrator to join their team and ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of their systems infrastructure. The role involves managing, monitoring, and maintaining Linux and Unix servers, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing solutions to optimize performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Install and configure Linux/Unix servers
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve server issues
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Implement system security measures
• Maintain and update system documentation
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems
• Knowledge of shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl)
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools
• Understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS)
