Our Molding Technicians help keep highly automated production cells running safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. This is a strong fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, focused, and ready to keep learning. If you want a role where you can build technical skills and grow into deeper knowledge of automation, processing, and maintenance, this is a good opportunity.

Airspeed manufactures precision components used in conducted energy devices, along with other complex components that require consistent quality and reliable process control.

The Molding Technician supports production by helping keep molding and automated work cells operating safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. This role is responsible for front-line troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, startup support, minor adjustments, and helping identify issues before they become bigger problems.

This is not a role for someone who only wants to watch a machine run. It is a role for someone who wants to be actively involved in how the process performs. The right person will be dependable, mechanically capable, attentive to detail, and interested in continuing to grow technically over time.

**

**

**What you will do

**

  • Support the day-to-day operation of molding and automated production equipment

  • Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership to keep production on track

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

  • Follow work instructions, process requirements, and quality standards

  • Document production or process checks as required

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around machines and equipment

  • Focused, observant, and able to stay engaged in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Willing to troubleshoot, learn, and take ownership

  • Able to follow process discipline and safety requirements

  • Comfortable working night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule

**

**Physical and work environment requirements

**

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to lift, move, or handle materials and components as needed

  • Ability to work around production equipment in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work safely and follow all plant safety requirements

**

**

**Why this role stands out

**

This position offers the chance to build a career, not just hold a job. You will be part of a manufacturing team that values reliability, quality, and hands-on technical growth. This role gives you exposure not only to molding, but also to automation and front-line maintenance support, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their skills and advance.
