Job Summary
Landrum & Brown is seeking a motivated intern with a passion for aviation planning and development to join our dynamic Chicago team. This internship offers flexible start dates in January or May and provides hands-on experience supporting project managers in the delivery of airport planning projects that meet our clients' goals.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works directly with clients on a variety of airport planning, noise abatement, and environmental/sustainability planning.
  • Participates and assists in organizing numerous community relations efforts and public meetings.
  • Develops and maintains electronic data sets and files and performs data analysis and comprehensive data reporting in a variety of tables, charts, and reports.
  • Prepares draft reports, presentations, schedules, meeting materials, and other deliverables based on direction from senior staff as well as individual efforts.
  • Provides technical assistance and is responsive to requests for data and information.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Aviation Management or related field of study
  • Passion for the Aviation sector
  • Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical/technical skills
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair and sustainable way.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge or interest in the aviation industry and airport operations
