SUMMARY OVERVIEWย 

The Baggage Concierge Agentย is responsible forย supporting the safe, secure, andย timelyย movement of checked baggage between the facility, terminal, airline-designated drop points, and approved baggage handling areas. This role coordinates with airline staff and internal teams to ensure baggage is handled accurately, transported securely, and processedย in accordance withย TSA, CBP, airline, airport, and company requirements. The Baggage Concierge Agent mustย maintainย strong attention to detail, handle baggage with care, communicate professionally, and support a smooth baggage service experience for customers, airline partners, and operational teams.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Collect checked luggage from the facility and transport it across the Airport Operations Area to approved drop points at the terminal in compliance with TSA, CBP, airline, airport, and company security requirements.ย ย 
  • Coordinate with airline staff at luggage drop points to ensure checked baggage is properly inserted into the Hold Baggage System.ย ย 
  • Collect boarding passes, bag tags, and other airline-issued documents from the main terminal and return them to the facility as needed.ย ย 
  • Collect checked luggage from airline-approved drop points and transport it across the Airport Operations Area to the facility in accordance with approved security and handling procedures.ย ย 
  • Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage to and from designated areas.ย ย 
  • Handle baggage with care to help prevent damage, loss, theft, or exposure to weather conditions.ย ย 
  • Drive and operate company vehicles, ground equipment, and other assigned equipment in a safe and responsible manner.ย ย 
  • Assist with recordkeeping and documentation to support accurate baggage tracking, routing, and handling.ย ย 
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions for yourself, coworkers, airline partners, airport personnel, and customers.ย ย 
  • Communicate professionally with managers, supervisors, lead agents, airline staff, and other operational teams to support daily schedules and baggage movement requirements.ย ย 
  • Monitor changing priorities, baggage volume, flight activity, and operational needs throughout the shift.ย ย 
  • Report equipment issues, vehicle concerns, damaged baggage, delays, safety hazards, or breakdowns promptly.ย ย 
  • Maintain compliance with airport security procedures while working in secure and restricted areas.ย 
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by managementย ย 

QUALIFICATIONSย 

  • 18 years of age or olderย 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.ย 
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)ย 
  • Abilityย to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including theย useย ofย electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devicesย 
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansย 
  • Pass a background check and drug screenย ย 
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).ย 
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to beย flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysย ย
