Position Summary


The Security Supervisor oversees aircraft security operations performed by HuntleighUSA under airline contract. This role is responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with airline security programs, TSA regulations, and contractual standards.

The Supervisor serves as the primary on-site leader, ensuring safe, secure, and professional execution of aircraft security services.

Key Responsibilities


Contracted Security Operations
• Supervise aircraft security services in alignment with airline security programs
• Ensure all procedures meet contractual and regulatory requirements
• Act as the primary on-site contact between staff, airline representatives, and airport authorities
• Maintain service levels in accordance with contract performance standards

Supervision & Leadership


• Lead, schedule, and supervise aircraft security personnel
• Conduct shift briefings and compliance checks
• Provide training, coaching, and performance management
• Ensure professional appearance and adherence to certification requirements

Security & Compliance


• Oversee access control to aircraft and restricted areas
• Ensure proper execution of aircraft searches, sweeps, and seal checks
• Maintain compliance with TSA, airport, and airline policies
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance

Incident & Emergency Response


• Serve as on-site supervisor during security incidents
• Coordinate with airline personnel, TSA, airport authorities, and law enforcement
• Complete detailed incident reports and assist with investigations
• Escalate critical issues to management and airline contacts

Administrative & Reporting Duties


• Maintain daily logs, reports, and compliance documentation
• Monitor staffing levels, coverage, and timekeeping
• Identify risks and recommend operational improvements
• Support audits and client reviews as needed

Required Qualifications


• High School Diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
• 3–5 years of aviation or airport security experience
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of airline security programs and aviation regulations
• Ability to obtain required airport security clearance and badges
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience working with airline-contracted security services
• Familiarity with TSA Aircraft Operator Standard Security Programs (AOSSP)
• CPR / First Aid / AED certification
• Experience working with airline station management and airport authorities
• Strong reporting and documentation experience
