Job Description:

The Senior Supervisor, Operations Management (P8-A Program) is responsible for managing the execution of the P8 Depot Level Maintenance Tasks.  The Senior Aircraft Supervisor will be responsible for the maintenance team operations.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead daily operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop frontline operational staff to meet performance expectations.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate workflow, labor, equipment, and materials to support production or service goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective action to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and human resources to resolve issues and improve execution.
  • Manage staffing needs, scheduling, performance management, training, and employee engagement activities.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize downtime, waste, and disruption.
  • Support budget, resource, and cost control efforts while maintaining service and production targets.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational results, workforce performance, and improvement plans to leadership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, inclusion, and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and ethical leadership practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with the P-8A Aircraft or 737 Commercial Aircraft as a maintenance technician or Supervisor.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in performance management, including employee coaching, feedback, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
  • Must be a US citizen.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with compliance to NAVAIRIST 3710.1G, DCMA INST 8210, and/or CNAFINST 4790.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, align teams to priorities, and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and execution skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, motivate employees, and foster a collaborative team environment.
