JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structures Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
PAY RATE: $34/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft and flight control components.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.

  • Perform close-tolerance drilling, precision measuring, and composite/metallic repairs.

  • Install/remove rivets, blind fasteners, hi-locks, bolts, and lock bolts.

  • Apply primer, paint, Alodine, sealants, and corrosion prevention methods.

  • Complete maintenance documentation and technical logs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of aircraft mechanic experience (commercial, military, defense, or apprenticeship experience accepted).

  • 3+ years reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Ability to perform close-tolerance drilling (.003) and precision measuring (.003).

  • Experience with metallic and composite aircraft structures.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
