Pilatus is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of line replaceable units (LRU) on Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 production and demonstration aircraft, in accordance with manufacturing specifications, approved procedures, and applicable FAA and FOCA regulations and standards. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots and maintains production aircraft as they progress through the completion process
  • Inspects and maintains demonstrator aircraft and keeps in flight ready condition
  • Records work progress in job cards, acceptance test procedures, and other production documents in accordance with company procedures
  • Removes fairings and flight controls in preparation for paint and reinstalls upon completion
  • Performs control surface balancing after paint
  • Inspects incoming aircraft and parts as per FAA Certified Repair Station Manual (RSM) manual
  • Uses proper safety equipment and complies with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government standards, rules, and regulations

Other Duties/Responsibilities
  • Services and maintains ground support equipment
  • Cleans and details aircraft and assists in aircraft movement
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy work area
  • Responds to other projects, additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by lead or manager
  • Regular attendance and willingness to work overtime as required

Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • Minimum two years of experience in PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft performing general maintenance duties.
  • Pratt & Whitney and Williams Engine experience or training a plus
  • Knowledge of removing, balancing, and installing flight surfaces a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in restricted spaces
  • Ability to use hand tools and specialized test equipment
  • Proficiency in general computer use and MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.62

The salary range for this position is $35 - $45 per hour depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
