The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate opening for a Gulfstream Aircraft Maintenance Engineer located in Lakehurst, NJ.
CACI International is continuing its partnership with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) and C5ISR Center Flight Activity (CFA) in a recently awarded four-year opportunity that will enhance CFA's mission in supporting the Warfighter. CFA Engineering and Support task order provides CACI the opportunity to enhance CFAs mission with state-of-the-art research, development, and engineering, and to provide capabilities to better support aviation related projects for the advancement of C5ISR technologies. Join Team CACI in this role to help meet the needs of the DoD and forward deployed warfighters.
Responsibilities:
  • As part of a small, accomplished team of experts, you'll bring your knowledge, leadership, and acquired skills and expertise to work alongside thought leaders supporting the development and test of cutting-edge Aerial ISR Technologies to fixed wing aviators with Army and Industry partners.
  • You'll use your skills and expertise contribute to the safe and efficient daily maintenance on CFA's fleet of aircraft- Gulfstream G-III and C-20.
  • As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team using your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while making safety a top priority.
  • As part of our team, you'll service, repair and overhaul assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness.
  • You'll use technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, and repair or replace faulty components.
  • You'll embody teamwork and integrity while upholding CACI's core values.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Valid FAA (A&P) Certificate is required, with a minimum of Seven (7) years' experience as an aircraft mechanic on the assigned aircraft (Gulfstream G-III, IV, V and C-20)
  • Completion of formal maintenance training on assigned aircraft (G-III, IV, V) is desired; Qualified by the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training desired.
  • Prefer Gulfstream G-III or C-20 recent experience in aviation maintenance with the assigned aircraft (G-III, IV, V, C-20) during the past 12 months, and Six (6) months of flight line and overhaul & inspection experience.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a US Govt Secret Clearance is Required.
  • A valid US Passport Required.
  • Mechanic Tools are required. Mechanics must provide their own shadowed/etched Tools and Toolbox.
  • A valid US driver's license.
