Job description

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.
The community you will join
Airbnb Global Recruiting supports all of Airbnb's businesses, platform, and function teams by attracting and connecting the most talented, diverse, and values-aligned people around the world. We apply talent acquisition strategy and programs, business partnerships, and operational excellence to align our work with Airbnb's evolving talent needs. As culture carriers and ambassadors, we foster belonging and host every candidate with authentic hospitality.
The Early Career & Emerging Talent team sits at the center of this work, focused specifically on interns and apprentices across every global region. We support all Airbnb teams interested in engaging junior talent as a way to fuel impactful projects and build a pipeline for future roles - touching every aspect of the experience, from university and community partnerships to hiring manager advising, onboarding, and program design.
The difference you'll make
This role is the operational backbone of our global internship and early career programs. You'll drive the infrastructure that makes world-class intern experiences possible - owning program management across the full lifecycle while stepping into full-cycle recruiting when business demand calls for it.
You'll partner across Talent, Diversity & Belonging, Airfinity groups, and business functions to ensure our programs are scalable, equitable, and deeply connected to Airbnb's mission. Whether you're designing intern onboarding, consulting a first-time hiring manager, or building a sourcing strategy for graduate-level roles in APAC or EMEA - your work shapes how the next generation of talent experiences Airbnb.
A Typical Day
Program management (primary focus)
  • Own end-to-end program management for the global early career programs including manager training, performance evaluations, onboarding and offboarding, and event management.
  • Lead cross-functional projects across multiple lines of business and global offices to deliver a consistent, high-quality programmatic experience.
  • Track initiative progress, measure program ROI, and share regular updates with recruiting and business stakeholders through clear, compelling reports.
  • Design and facilitate training and support materials for hiring managers, team members, and program partners.
  • Drive continuous improvements to systems, tools, reporting, and processes, including leveraging AI, to increase efficiency across highly operational program work and peak hiring seasons.
  • Partner with HR, business leaders, and recruiters to support placement of full-time conversions and program continuity.

Recruiting (as business needs require)
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical intern roles across all Airbnb functions & regions, including Tech, Design, Communications, Public Policy, Legal, and Finance.
  • Design function-specific sourcing strategies and build relationships with universities, organizations, and vendors.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop competitive hiring strategies, facilitate debrief discussions, and close candidates.
  • Maintain a consistent and seamless candidate experience from application through offer, using our ATS to track and manage all stages.
  • Use data to evaluate recruiting success and inform future strategy.

Your expertise
  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management, recruiting, or a blend of both with a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder work.
  • Experience in early career or university recruiting; familiarity with graduate-level talent pipelines is a strong plus.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to build credibility across all levels of an organization.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities - you can translate program data into compelling narratives and design presentations that land with any audience including senior leadership.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, requisitions, and deadlines in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Comfortable working across global regions and willing to flex hours when needed to support hiring in multiple time zones.
  • Experience using data to track, evaluate, and continuously improve program and recruiting outcomes.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a track record of finding practical ways to apply them in day-to-day work; curiosity and openness to learning how to build custom AI-powered tools that go beyond off-the-shelf use.
  • Genuine passion for the early career space, diversity and belonging, and Airbnb's mission.
