Job description


This role is responsible for performing duct leakage and air balancing testing of air conditioning systems. This employee should be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in residential or commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Performduct leakage and air balancing operations using specialized testingequipment
  • Prepareand protect work areas before testing
  • Inspectand identify problems and correct them during testing to meet municipal andenergy star codes
  • Beable to read manual J load calculations and adjust air flow to meetmunicipal and energy star codes
  • Operateand maintain testing equipment
  • Followall safety procedures, including PPE requirements and job-site protocols
  • Workefficiently individually or part of a team and communicate clearly withsupervisors
  • Maintainclean, organized job sites and properly dispose of waste materials
  • Travelto job sites in a company vehicle
