Job description

Position: Regional Operations Manager

Department / Industry: Transportation - 3PL (third-party logistics) / White Glove Residential Delivery 

Base Location:  Monroe, Connecticut

Supporting Locations: 4-5 New Hampshire (Hudson / Portsmouth) Bangor, Maine, Piscataway, New Jersey

Work Environment: On Site Warehouse, client locations.

Shift: Full Time

Reports to:  Director of Operations   

Accounts: Bobs Discount Furniture  

Job Profile Summary 

This position is responsible for managing a regional team within our Logistics division including supervision of personnel across a region, expense management, accountability for financial performance and execution of the talent strategy. This position will work with the Carrier Sales Team, Capacity Procurement Team as well as Logistics Sales and Customer Service Teams to execute the matching of loads to capacity, assuring we move freight that meets customer expectations within our carriers that meet our qualifications while growing our carrier base and building long term relationships. This is a non-remote position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of logistics experience.
  • Currently in the role of a multi-unit field leader 3-5 years.
  • Third party capacity 7-10 years / White Glove Residential Delivery experience.  
  • Experience with Profit and Loss Accountability preferred. 
  • Strong background in management or supervisory experience of 7-10 years or more.
  • Road Warrior up to 50% travel

The expected starting pay range for this position is $65,925.60 - $87,900.80 annualized salary. Offers determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
