Monday - Friday 1st shift, weekend rotation
Pay Range
$30.70 - $46.05
Major Responsibilities:
  • Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
  • Diagnoses and implements repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
  • Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems.
  • Operates and monitors advanced utility equipment (generators, plant chillers, steam boilers, fire protection systems, etc.) and utilizes building automation systems to troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems
  • Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
  • Valid Driver's License. Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or trades or industry recognized certification/license requiring Continuing Education Units or periodic renewal to maintain.

Education Required:
  • Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training.

Experience Required:
  • 4 or more Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight with advanced technical skills in facility maintenance.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Advanced computer skills/competency required in using and operating systems such as Microsoft Office Platform, Building Automation Systems, Pneumatic Tube Systems.
  • Clear understanding of applicable compliance codes and guidelines.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Works required shifts and participates in on-call duty to provide 24/7 coverage.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, crawl, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. from floor to overhead, lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to chest-level, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance.
  • Must be able to push/pull with 50 lbs. of force.
  • Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards and therefore knowledge of safety precautions.
  • Position requires travel. May be exposed to road/weather hazards.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Community College/Trade school degree
  • Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or trades or industry recognized certification/license requiring Continuing Education Units or periodic renewal to maintain.
  • 7+ Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
