MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Secretary of the Air Force, Studies and Analysis (SAF/SA) offices in the Pentagon. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Augments and assists the military and civilian staff in providing applicable Intelligence information to assist in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) functions and studies, answer Requests for Information (RFIs) from various internal and external stakeholders and provide Intelligence briefings as required to support senior Air Force decision makers.

  • Provides intelligence for Secretariate-level staff for future planning and study support. Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country.

  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments connecting information from multiple sources and assessing the credibility of the information using TS/SCI, SECRET, and UNCLASSIFIED web portals, contacting the Intelligence Service-Support Agencies (NASIC, MSIC, etc.), Space Force, DIA, CIA, COCOM Intel, and others. 

  • Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for assigned areas. 

  • Researching, preparing, and delivering intelligence briefings on a wide range of topics to various parties up to the General/Flag level.

  • Being self-motivated and able to work independently to gather relevant information about our adversaries, analyzing and assessing all manner of warfare (air, space, maritime, as well as ground capabilities) that could affect USAF war plans, tactics, technologies, innovations, purchase decisions, and force structure.

  • Having experience using analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, including data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science and 5+ years of relevant Intelligence experience, or an Associates degree, and 7+ years of Intelligence experience, or a High School and 10+ years of Intelligence experience

  • Experience working as an Air Force Intelligence Officer or NCO

  • Experience with Office 365 system and applications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be US Citizen with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

  • M.S., M.A. or MBA

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are met

  • Ability to effectively interact with various levels of senior management is necessary

  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a generally sedentary position 50%.

  • Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and printers.
