What does an air conditioning technician do?

An air conditioning technician installs, maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Their duties include diagnosing system issues, performing regular maintenance, replacing faulty parts, and ensuring that systems operate efficiently and safely. Technicians may also advise customers on energy-saving practices and the proper use of their air conditioning units. They often work both indoors and outdoors and may be required to respond to emergency service requests.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an air conditioning technician?

To thrive as an Air Conditioning Technician, you need a solid understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and electrical fundamentals, typically backed by a technical diploma or certification.
