Franks Air Conditioning & Heating is looking for an experienced, dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We are a local, family-owned and operated company with more than 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, treats customers with respect, and has the knowledge and experience to properly diagnose and repair residential air conditioning and heating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems
  • Service and repair all major brands of air conditioning and heating equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Identify problems and recommend the proper repair
  • Clearly explain repairs and options to customers
  • Complete service paperwork accurately
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of our team

Qualifications

  • HVAC service experience required
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of heat pumps, split systems, electrical components, refrigerant systems, 
  • EPA certification 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Must have basic HVAC hand tools
  • Dependable and able to arrive to work on time
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Able to work in Florida heat, attics, crawl spaces, and other typical HVAC environments
