Job Title: Industrial HVAC/R Technician
  • Location: Grapevine, TX 76051
  • Position Type: Temp-to-Perm (Full-Time)
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must be open to occasional overtime/weekends)
  • Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00/hr on W-2
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial HVAC/R Technician to join our Facility Operations & Maintenance team in Grapevine, TX. Utilizing strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, you will handle preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and facility equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • HVAC/R Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial heating, ventilation, rooftop AHUs, split systems, chillers, cooling towers (Marley, Cyrco, Reymsa), commercial freezers, and refrigerators.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Safely work with 3-phase power up to 480V. Troubleshoot electrical circuits from 24VAC/DC up, including lighting, load centers, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Controls & Automation: Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) and automated building controls to respond to client work orders (hot/cold calls) and track facility equipment.
  • General Facility Maintenance: Support overall facility upkeep, including pneumatic/air dryers, air compressors, and light plumbing, electrical, or structural repairs as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow safety protocols, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and mandatory PPE utilization.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated HVAC maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
  • Certification: EPA Universal Certification is strictly required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs frequently, and work from aerial or scissor lifts at heights up to 30+ feet.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret electrical prints and schematics; ability to differentiate wire color-coding.
  • Hiring Prerequisites: Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident (No sponsorship available). Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, possess a valid Driver's License, and be able to obtain a site security access badge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or Technical School Diploma in HVAC, Industrial Electricity, or a related skilled trade.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting VFDs and maintaining commercial cooling towers.
  • Experience with restaurant-style refrigeration systems.
  • General facility maintenance experience (dock locks, garage doors, light carpentry).
