PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION TECHNICIAN-PORTER
Chastang Ford is growing and we need more great people for our amazing team. We are getting vehicles daily and we need energetic, fast-paced people to do state inspections, vehicle check-ins, and accessory installations. We promote from within when we can and this position can be a stepping stone to other positions available in the dealership.

THE POSITION:
We are to maintain the trust of our customers. We should make sure that their vehicle is ready for delivery. We are careful to maintain the integrity of that vehicle.
  • Inspect Vehicles off the transport
  • Report any damages or problems upon inspection of the vehicle
  • Must have safe driving record, able to drive medium duty trucks
  • CLD license not mandatory but a plus
  • Pick up and deliver medium duty trucks
  • Pick up and deliver parts
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to drive and operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with others.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and exert up to 50 pounds of force in order to carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Must be able to climb into and out of medium-duty trucks
  • Must be able to perform job functions outside when it rains
