About This Role

Our ideal candidate for the Floater Teacher position brings a dynamic energy and flexible approach to support our students and teachers throughout the day. By filling the gaps in our classroom support team, you help create a seamless learning experience, maintain a balanced environment, and provide essential relief to our lead teachers. Your proactive attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and genuine passion for education make you an invaluable asset to our academy.


What You'll Do
  • Aiding in Learning Environments: Collaborate with Lead Teachers to foster engaging project-based activities and effective classroom management.
  • Guaranteeing Compliance: Elevate the academy's standards by ensuring the necessary coverage during teacher breaks, planning periods, and other critical moments.
  • Upholding Excellence: Contribute to a high-quality environment by assisting with transitions, meal times, and sanitization routines that parents trust and respect.
  • Fostering Inclusive Experiences: Become an integral part of every child's journey by providing personalized support during storytelling, outdoor activities, and creative exploration.
  • Prioritizing Safety: Take pride in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, meticulously supervising students across various age groups and settings.

Requirements
  • Skill Set: Basic knowledge of child development principles and a talent for following instructions with a proactive, growth mindset.
  • Experience: Foundational knowledge of early childhood settings; ability to adapt quickly to different classroom routines and learning styles.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse staff members and interact warmly with parents.
  • Heart & Soul: High energy, extreme flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting both teachers and children.
  • Educational Background: Currently hold a High School Diploma or GED; enrollment in an Associate’s degree program in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
  • Essentials: First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) and the ability to pass all required background clearances.
