Temporary Assistant Financial Aid

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary

This position provides critical office support, performing administrative functions within Student Financial Services, including Financial Aid and Student Accounting, to operate efficiently and achieve its front end customer service goals. In addition to reception duties, the position will be responsible for administrative support of department services and programs, upholding the professional nature of the departments, and communicating with key stakeholders.
Student Financial Services focuses on providing excellent and accurate customer service. All
staff will listen with respect, use sound judgment and respond in a positive, courteous, and
timely manner to student’s needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all visitors seeking the support of the Offices of Financial Aid and Student Accounting.
  • Serves as primary steward for both departments, responding to incoming inquiries via telephone and in-person, and serving as a front-line representative of the departments. Perform administrative support tasks, including answering inquiries and correspondences.
  • Provides administrative support to the departments and performs other duties as
    delegated by the supervisor.
