Job Description

As a Financial Aid Director (Corporate-Back Office), your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of student records in the Federal COD system, which includes timely disbursement and returned to Title IV funds for Unitek College students. In addition, this position requires the tracking and administration of the institution cohort default management rate.

  • Award state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy
  • Process Verification and Disbursements
  • Calculate Return of Title IV
  • Internal file audits
  • Run reports to ensure work integrity
  • Interact with other departments to assist students
  • Assist VP of FA & FAD carry out and maintain up to date information on new federal regulations
  • Assist with Private Loans and Institutional Payment Plan
  • CampusVue Export/Import & troubleshooting
  • COD troubleshooting and reconciliation (at a minimum prepping reports) for Direct Loans & Pell Grants disbursements
  • Default Management: Weekly CDR Report, Updating CampusVue® Loan management module; tracking and ensuring exit procedures are happening per regulations; updating NSLDS
  • Work with VP of FA with review (and if applicable), restructuring of our CampusVue® system
  • Matric-manage back-office and front office staff as needed/relevant to action items
  • Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position. This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.

This position is located at our Corporate office in Tempe, AZ

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of Financial Aid experience.
  • CampusVue® experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task.
  • Computer knowledge is requested, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
