Job description

Position: AIA Billing Specialist
Location: Worcester, MA (5 Days Onsite)
Salary: $100,000–$110,000 + Bonus

The AIA Billing Specialist's Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, submit, and manage AIA billing applications, including G702/G703 forms
  • Track change orders, retainage, lien waivers, and project billing documentation
  • Partner closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely billings
  • Develop and maintain Excel reports, billing schedules, reconciliations, and project trackers
  • Utilize AI tools to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and automate repetitive tasks
  • Assist with collections and resolve billing discrepancies as needed
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of AIA billing experience required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and reporting
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar productivity platforms strongly preferred
  • Construction or project accounting experience required
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
