What does an AI User Researcher do?

An AI User Researcher is responsible for studying how people interact with artificial intelligence products or features to improve their usability and effectiveness. They conduct user interviews, usability tests, surveys, and data analysis to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Their findings help guide the design and development of AI systems to ensure they are user-friendly, ethical, and meet real-world requirements. AI User Researchers often work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the development process.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an AI User Researcher, and why are they important?

To thrive as an AI User Researcher, you need a strong background in user research methodologies, data analysis, and human-computer interaction, typically supported by a degree in psychology, human factors, or related fields.
