Job description

Job Summary:
Johnson Technology Systems Inc. (JTSi) is building the next generation of AI-native infrastructure for U.S. federal contracting. We are looking for an AI Solutions Architect to own the design, development, and delivery of intelligent platforms across our proposal automation, talent acquisition, and CRM integration workstreams.
Responsibilities:
• Design end-to-end AI system architecture for federal contracting use cases: proposal automation, document intelligence, and talent acquisition
• Build, maintain, and scale RAG pipelines over structured and unstructured federal corpora (RFPs, CPARS, FAR clauses, past proposals)
• Orchestrate multi-LLM workflows (Claude, GPT) across document analysis, compliance review, and content generation tasks
• Develop and maintain FastAPI services integrating AI platform capabilities into OfficeGaps and other enterprise systems
• Lead the Agentic AI Initiative—identify, scope, and deliver AI enhancements to the Contacts and Procurement tabs within OfficeGaps
• Maintain vector stores (Chroma, Pinecone) and embedding pipelines ensuring retrieval quality and latency targets are met
• Collaborate with proposal, recruiting, and business development teams to translate operational workflows into AI product specifications
• Own technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and stakeholder-facing demonstrations of platform capabilities
• Lead a four-person AI Initiatives R&D team—conduct weekly standups, manage sprint planning, and drive delivery accountability
Qualifications:
Required:
• Python (FastAPI, Streamlit)
• Prompt engineering and structured output design
• LLM orchestration: Claude, GPT APIs
• Federal contracting domain knowledge
• RAG pipeline design and implementation
• SAM.gov and GovWin workflow familiarity
• Vector search: Chroma, Pinecone
• Document parsing and chunking pipelines
• REST API design and SaaS integration
• GitHub, VS Code, Claude Code
• SQL and data engineering fundamentals
• B.S. in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred:
• FAR compliance review experience
• SAP Technology Consultant certification
• CPARS and past-performance analysis
• IBM Generative AI Engineer certification
• Agentic AI / multi-agent framework design
• U.S. citizenship with clearance eligibility
• Power BI, Tableau, or dashboard tooling
• Experience in defense or civilian federal contracting
