About the Role

Scorpion is looking for a Sales Account Executive to drive new business growth within the home service industry through our AI powered marketing and technology platform. This is a true hunter role where you'll build your own pipeline, develop relationships with business owners, and own the sales process from prospecting through close.

We're looking for someone who understands the challenges of running a home service business and can confidently have strategic conversations about lead generation, marketing ROI, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Whether you've sold software, route management, CRM, equipment, chemicals, distribution, or other business solutions to home service companies, your industry expertise is what matters most.

What Your Success Will Look Like

• Support our team culture by working in the office 5 days a week. This means you'll have to live within commuting distance of the Addison, TX office.
• Own the Full Sales Cycle: Generate and close new business by owning the sales process from prospecting through discovery, demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Build Your Own Pipeline: Develop new opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic business development. Success in this role comes from consistently creating your own pipeline.
• Sell to Business Owners: Build trusted relationships with home service owners, operators, and executive decision makers by understanding their goals and presenting solutions that drive measurable business growth.
• Leverage Your Industry Expertise: Use your knowledge of the home service industry to identify business challenges and recommend AI powered marketing and technology solutions that help customers generate higher quality leads, improve conversion rates, maximize marketing ROI, and grow revenue.
• Deliver Results: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly recurring revenue goals through a consultative, solution based sales approach while maintaining an accurate forecast and healthy pipeline.
• Continuously Improve: Seek coaching, embrace feedback, and stay current on home service and digital marketing trends to continuously improve your sales performance.
• Become a Product Expert: Develop expertise in Scorpion's RevenueMAX platform, including AI powered advertising, lead management, websites, SEO, reputation management, revenue intelligence, and customer engagement solutions. Conduct discovery calls, customize demonstrations, and recommend solutions that align with each customer's business goals.

Who You Are and What You Bring

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldor equivalent practical experience.
• Experience
  • 4+ years of full cycle B2B sales experience in a quota carrying role with responsibility for prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing new business.
  • 2+ years in Home Service Industry selling software, technology, marketing, equipment, chemicals, distribution, route management, CRM, or other business solutions directly to home service companies. You understand the challenges business owners face and can speak their language.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas while independently developing and closing new client relationships. Experience earning promotions, sales recognition, or President's Club is a plus.

Your First 90 Days

• Learn the Scorpion Way: Complete Scorpion's immersive three week onboarding program with our Client Experience & Enablement team. You'll develop expertise in our AI powered marketing platform, consultative sales methodology, and the home service industry while learning from experienced sales leaders and peers.
• Build Momentum: Begin prospecting, building your pipeline, conducting discovery meetings, and delivering tailored demonstrations with ongoing coaching and support from your manager and enablement team.
• Ramp to Success: Build the confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills needed to achieve full quota within your first three months while continuing to receive coaching and professional development.

Compensation

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

The base salary is $60,000 (entry-level) - $79,000 (highly experienced). This position's base salary + annual variable is $128,000 (entry-level) - $147,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.

Work Location & Flexibility

Scorpion supports a range of work arrangements, including in-office, hybrid, and remote roles. For positions designated as remote, employees who live within commuting distance of a Scorpion office may be asked to work from the office based on team needs, collaboration opportunities, or business priorities. Specific expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
