Job Summary:
Arnata is building the world’s first AI workforce for logistics, aiming to enhance productivity in logistics teams. They are seeking an exceptional AI Research Scientist to drive advancements in agent intelligence and apply research to real-world applications in logistics.
Responsibilities:
• Build and fine-tune multi-agent systems capable of dynamic reasoning and decision-making
• Research and prototype novel approaches to planning, voice and text negotiation, and real-time problem-solving
• Integrate with real-world systems: email, telephony, TMS platforms, APIs
• Ship research—into production—with real customer impact across trucking, brokerage, and global supply chains
• Collaborate with a small, elite team of engineers, product thinkers, and operators
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience doing applied AI research inside a product-driven company (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, etc. or startups)
• PhD or equivalent experience in AI, ML, NLP, or a related field
• Experience with LLMs, reasoning engines, planning, agent architectures, or autonomous systems
• You care about impact—not just benchmarks
• You move fast, think clearly, and want to own the AI brain behind a global system
