Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
§ Must have 18+ years of overall IT experience with strong Technical Program Management experience across large-scale Cloud Transformation, Migration, Modernization, FinOps, Cloud Operations and Platform engineering programs.
§ Candidate should have proven experience managing huge enterprise cloud programs for strategic accounts, preferably with BFSI clients, with accountability for cloud footprint expansion, delivery governance, stakeholder management, commercial outcomes and revenue growth.
§ Strong hands-on understanding of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP, cloud landing zones, migration factory models, application disposition, 6R migration strategy, modernization roadmaps, cloud security, IAM, networking, resiliency, observability, DevOps/IaC, SRE practices and cost optimization is mandatory.
§ Must be able to translate business goals into executable cloud program roadmaps, manage multi-workstream delivery teams, drive executive-level governance, track risks/issues/dependencies, and ensure delivery against scope, schedule, quality, cost and business value commitments.
§ Experience in building or scaling cloud programs that increase account cloud footprint, improve consumption/adoption, reduce TCO, and generate incremental revenue through new SOWs, extensions, assessments, managed services or transformation opportunities is required.
§ Strong client-facing consulting mindset, executive communication, financial acumen, program commercials, estimation, proposal/SOW support, portfolio reporting and relationship management skills are essential.
§ Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Big-4 consulting firms such as Deloitte, or equivalent management/technology consulting organizations, especially where they have led advisory-to-execution cloud transformation engagements for large enterprise clients.
§ Professional certifications in project/program management such as PMP and/or PgMP are highly preferred to validate structured program governance, portfolio execution, risk management, stakeholder management, financial tracking and enterprise delivery discipline.
§ Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking/Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator/DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent certifications are preferred to demonstrate practical technical depth across cloud architecture, security, networking, automation, resiliency and cost optimization.
§ Additional certifications such as SAFe Agilist/SPC, Certified Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation/Managing Professional, TOGAF, FinOps Certified Practitioner, Kubernetes/CKA, Terraform Associate or equivalent credentials will be an added advantage for managing agile delivery, cloud operating models, architecture governance, platform engineering, automation and consumption optimization.
§ Awareness or exposure to AI-enabled cloud operations and automation, including AIOps, GenAI-assisted incident management, intelligent observability, predictive monitoring, automated remediation and cloud operations optimization, will be considered a strong plus.
§ Candidate should be capable of playing a strategic cloud advisory role within the client cloud organization at executive leadership level, providing thought leadership on cloud strategy, operating models, modernization priorities, governance, innovation opportunities and emerging industry trends/technological advan cements relevant to enterprise cloud practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
§ Own and drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale cloud transformation, migration, modernization, cloud operations and platform engineering programs across multiple workstreams, vendors and stakeholder groups.
§ Partner with client executive leadership, cloud organization leaders, business stakeholders and technology teams to define cloud strategy, program roadmap, operating model, governance structure and measurable business outcomes.
§ Act as a strategic cloud advisor to the client by bringing industry perspectives, emerging cloud trends, modernization patterns, AI-enabled operations opportunities and technology advancement recommendations into executive-level discussions.
§ Manage cloud program planning, scope definition, schedule, budget, resource planning, dependency tracking, RAID management, change control, quality governance, milestone tracking and executive status reporting.
§ Lead migration and modernization execution using cloud landing zones, application portfolio assessment, 6R disposition strategy, migration factory models, DevOps/IaC automation, security controls, resiliency patterns and operational readiness frameworks.
§ Drive expansion of the account cloud footprint by identifying new transformation opportunities, cloud consumption growth areas, managed services opportunities, platform engineering needs, FinOps optimization initiatives and incremental revenue streams.
§ Support account growth through proposal inputs, solution shaping, estimation, SOW development, commercial discussions, renewal/extension opportunities and alignment of delivery outcomes with account revenue objectives.
§ Establish and run executive governance forums, steering committee reviews, portfolio dashboards, delivery health reviews, risk mitigation and value realization reporting for cloud programs.
§ Coordinate with architecture, engineering, security, infrastructure, application, data, operations, finance and procurement teams to ensure integrated delivery across cloud strategy, architecture, build, migration, operations and optimization phases.
§ Ensure adherence to enterprise cloud standards, security/compliance requirements, architecture governance, operational controls, resiliency expectations, cost management practices and delivery methodology.
§ Promote automation-led delivery and cloud operations efficiency through DevOps, IaC, CI/CD, observability, AIOps, automated remediation, predictive monitoring and continuous improvements
§ Mentor and guide cross-functional delivery teams, remove execution blockers, manage escalations, build trusted client relationships and ensure delivery commitments are met with high quality and predictable outcomes.
