Job Title: Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. This role requires strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely project completion.

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering designs to produce accurate drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, layouts, and submittal packages.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, or other CAD software is a plus.

• Knowledge of drafting standards and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, architecture, engineering, or related industries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
