Pharmacy Technician

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Pay: $18.23 per hour
Schedule:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
ROLE IMPACT
Join a fast-paced pharmacy operations team supporting the safe, accurate, and timely preparation of prescription medications. This role is essential to maintaining quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient medication fulfillment while working collaboratively with licensed pharmacists and team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, measure, count, label, and package prescription medications according to established procedures.
Replenish automated dispensing cells and maintain accurate medication inventory through stock rotation and organization.
Maintain a clean, organized work area while ensuring medication labeling and documentation are accurate.
Comply with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements and patient confidentiality standards.
Assist with prescription documentation and support daily pharmacy operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to obtain required Indiana Pharmacy Technician licensing and Tech-in-Training registration.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with previous pharmacy experience.
Demonstrated attention to detail, accountability, quality focus, ability to stay on task, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Prescription labeling and packaging systems
HIPAA-compliant documentation practices
PREFERRED SKILLS
Strong basic math, reading, and written communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Reliable attendance with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to select and lift items from shelving and transport materials throughout the work area.
Ability to regularly lift and carry 20–30 pounds for short distances and 15 pounds for extended periods.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent verification required.
Ability to obtain required Indiana pharmacy licensing, if not currently licensed.
Candidates may be required to complete applicable pre-employment screening in accordance with company policy.
