JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: IT L1 Support Job type and Location: Part Time (One day ever week for 4 hours, onsite) in Indianapolis, IN Long term contract Job Description: We are looking for an IT L1 Support professional to provide onsite technical assistance for Microsoft employees conducting research at Quantum Computing Research Hub locations. The role requires supporting end users with basic IT issues, maintaining peripheral equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations at the site. Key Responsibilities: Provide onsite IT support for Microsoft employees conducting research at the Quantum Computing Research Hub locations.

Assist users with basic IT troubleshooting and Level 1 technical support, including hardware and peripheral issues. Manage and maintain a small stock of IT peripherals, such as computer mice, keyboards, monitors, and other essential accessories. Provide and manage peripheral stock levels, ensuring adequate availability at all times.

Coordinate with onsite business administrators who will oversee and help ensure the availability of peripheral stock. Ensure that all peripheral inventory provided for the site is properly maintained and utilized, with funding fully supported by Microsoft. Maintain professional communication with onsite teams and ensure timely resolution of support requests.

Requirements: Basic knowledge of IT support and troubleshooting (Level 1 support). Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and basic IT infrastructure. Strong communication and coordination skills to work with onsite teams and administrators.

Ability to manage small inventories of IT peripherals and ensure availability when required. Reliable and able to provide onsite support during scheduled hours.
