Job Summary for Senior Data Governance and Data Quality Analyst
- Support enterprise data governance, data quality, stewardship, and AI governance initiatives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, data owners, technology teams, and AI program leaders
- Improve data trust and establish governance controls
- Enable responsible adoption of AI capabilities
- Translate business requirements into governance controls, data quality metrics, and AI governance processes
- Define and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata, and critical data elements (CDEs)
- Partner with data stewards and business owners to establish data ownership, standards, and governance controls
- Support governance frameworks, stewardship processes, data classifications, and metadata management
- Document data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and governance artifacts
- Support cross-functional governance councils and initiatives
- Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessments
- Create and maintain data quality rules, monitoring processes, scorecards, dashboards, and metrics
- Conduct root-cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues
- Validate critical data elements and business rules across systems
- Execute advanced SQL queries for profiling, reconciliation, validation, and testing
- Support source-to-target mapping validation activities
- Work within Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and Informatica environments
- Analyze data movement patterns and assess lineage across enterprise systems
- Support testing and validation for data migration, reporting, and analytics initiatives
- Alteryx experience highly preferred
- Must have relevant experience or significant knowledge and ability to perform these responsibilities
- Relevant education/training is a plus
