Why you should join us

Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. We are building a commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to take control of their content supply chain. Some reasons for why you should join us are:

  • Rapid growth: Over the past year, we have been working with some of the top life sciences manufacturers as well as marketing agencies and are working with over 50+ pharma brands.

  • Frontiers of technology: Weโ€™re building applications and rapidly iterating technical approaches at the frontiers of AI, experimenting with LLMs and new frameworks. We have V2 of the platform currently deployed to customers but are incorporating new, advanced frameworks to our solution aggressively.

  • Top-tier investors: Weโ€™ve raised $3.5mm+ from investors like Twelve Below, Virtue and the founders of Datavant, Commure, and Paradigm to supercharge our growth and build an elite team of engineers and operators.

Building anything great requires commitment and dedication. Weโ€™re looking for someone who has the fire to prove others wrong

About the Role (Lead AI Medical Editor):

Weโ€™re looking for a Lead AI Medical Editor to join our core team and help set the gold standard for compliant, scientifically accurate pharmaceutical marketing content. Youโ€™ll work to ensure that AI generated content is medically validated and compliant before delivering it to pharmaceutical marketing teams. You will be at the forefront of shaping how life sciences companies create, review, approve, and deploy content at scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Define editorial and compliance standards: Partner with product and AI teams to encode industry best practices, ensuring our platform consistently delivers high-quality, compliant outputs.

  • Shape next-generation review workflows: Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to improve how our AI understands clinical claims, references data, and flags risk areas for reviewers.

  • Mentor and lead: Provide editorial leadership, helping shape the processes and team that will scale our medical review capabilities as we grow.

Some Ideal Traits Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Deep medical and regulatory expertise: Strong understanding of life sciences marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, OPDP, MLR review).

  • Editorial precision: Exceptional ability to analyze scientific and clinical content, detect inaccuracies, and ensure claims are appropriately substantiated.

  • Curiosity about AI: Excitement to work with emerging AI tools and help shape how technology can enhance (not replace) human judgment in medical review.

  • Independent thinking & ownership: Comfort making decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and driving initiatives end to end.

  • Collaborative mindset: Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and copywriters.

  • Mission-driven grit: A passion for improving how life-saving treatments reach patients through better, faster, and safer commercial content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit promotional material content for global pharmaceutical clients by checking:

  • Language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Consistency of language
  • Adherence to brand style and client guidelines
  • Format documents in line with journal/congress requirements.
  • Ensure documents comply with specified style guides (e.g., AMA Manual of Style, brand style, client guidelines).

  • Contribute to team initiatives such as knowledge-sharing and documentation of resources.

Desired Profile:
