FOUNDATION FELLOWS – SEMESTER-LONG FELLOWSHIP (5 Months)

The Foundation Fellows Semester Program is a 5-month experiential learning opportunity designed for undergraduate and graduate students seeking to apply their academic work within meaningful, interdisciplinary development initiatives in Puerto Rico.
This fellowship bridges the gap between theory and practice, offering a structured pathway to gain academic credit, practicum experience, or capstone fulfillment.
What You Will Do
As a Semester Fellow, you will:
  • Work up to 30+ hours per week (depending on academic curriculum stipulations) on transformational projects aligned with Puerto Rico’s development needs.
  • Drive hands-on Immersion Projects in policy, mobility, cultural development, innovation, or human capital.
  • Participate in Learning Labs covering systems thinking, AI-enabled professional skills, stakeholder engagement, and more.
  • Engage in a mentor-led development journey with clear goals and personalized guidance.
  • Optionally rotate into a complementary strategic area.
