Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineering Lead / IT Architect to drive the adoption of AI-powered software engineering platforms and agentic development capabilities across enterprise engineering teams. This role focuses on AI-assisted software development, engineering productivity transformation, developer tooling strategy, and autonomous engineering workflows utilizing platforms such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and emerging AI coding agents.

The ideal candidate will establish AI engineering standards, governance frameworks, best practices, and adoption strategies while partnering with engineering teams to accelerate software delivery, improve software quality, and enhance developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and benchmark AI software engineering platforms including Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and emerging AI development tools.

Define and implement AI-assisted software engineering standards, governance, and best practices.

Lead AI pilot initiatives and scale successful engineering productivity solutions across development organizations.

Design and promote agentic development workflows and specification-driven development practices.

Measure and improve developer productivity, software quality, and SDLC efficiency through data-driven metrics.

Create reference architectures, implementation patterns, and technical guidance for AI-native software development.

Collaborate with software architects, engineering managers, product teams, and platform teams to integrate AI capabilities into the software lifecycle.

Assess security, compliance, and governance considerations related to AI coding platforms.

Mentor engineering teams on modern software engineering practices and AI-powered development workflows.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery velocity, code quality, technical debt reduction, and developer experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of relevant software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership experience.

Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience with AI coding platforms such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.

Strong backend development experience using Java/Spring Boot and Python.
