Working in a digitally driven, innovation-led environment where you can help clients shift to the New using leading-edge technologies on some of the coolest projects you can imagine.

The Work

The SAP Edge - AI Lead, is a senior, high-impact role responsible for identifying, embedding, and scaling artificial intelligence capabilities across Accenture SAP EDGE's sales, solution architecture, and delivery functions. This leader sits at the intersection of GenAI tooling, SAP domain expertise, and operational performance - translating rapidly evolving AI technology into measurable efficiency gains that reduce cost-to-sell, accelerate time-to-solution, and protect margin on every client engagement.

This is a builder's role. The SAP Edge - AI Lead will shape SAP EDGE's AI capability from the ground up, working closely with GTM, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Technology leaders to ensure every initiative is grounded in real workflow impact - not theory. The mandate is clear: make our people faster, make our solutions sharper, and make our delivery more profitable through the intelligent application of AI.

The AI Lead is accountable across four strategic pillars:

  • AI Strategy & Roadmap - Define and own EDGE's AI capability roadmap, aligned to GTM priorities and delivery realities.

  • Tooling Identification & Embedding - Evaluate, pilot, and scale AI tools across pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery workflows.

  • Operational Performance - Drive quantifiable efficiency outcomes: reduced pursuit costs, faster time-to-value, improved margins.

  • Enablement & Change Management - Upskill teams, build adoption habits, and create feedback loops that sustain AI-led improvement.

Position requires travel to client sites as required, must be flexible to travel 25%-75%

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated, hands-on experience applying enterprise-class AI tools in a professional services or consulting context - including at least one of the following: Anthropic Claude (API, Claude.ai Teams, or Claude for Enterprise), Accenture GenWizard / myConcerto AI, Microsoft Copilot for SAP, or SAP Business AI / Joule.

  • Minimum of 4 years of SAP experience with a strong and broad functional knowledge - Preferable experience in SAP Solution Architecture, Presales or Delivery.

  • Minimum of 12 years of industry experience such as Manufacturing, Chemical, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, etc.

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience developing or scaling a consulting practice, service line, or solution offering - ideally within a systems integration or professional services context

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Professional Skills Requirement:

  • Proven ability to translate technical AI capabilities into client-ready narratives and business value propositions

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite audiences and leading large, multi-stakeholder conversations

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Experience in SAP Solution Planning and Deal Shaping, to include but not limited to: responding to RFPs, creating staffing models, and ability to present and sell at client presentations.

  • Clear understanding of integration among all core SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, HCM) and hands-on familiarity with AI augmentation potential within each functional area.

  • Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and SAP Best Practices, with demonstrated experience applying AI tooling at each Activate phase to accelerate Explore, Realize, and Deploy milestones.

  • Hands-on experience with Accenture GenWizard for proposal generation, solution narrative authoring, or contract analysis at scale - with measurable output (e.g., proposals completed, time saved per pursuit cycle).

  • Familiarity with SAP BTP AI Core, SAP Joule, SAP Document Information Extraction, or SAP Predictive Analytics as components of a client solution architecture or delivery accelerator.

  • Completion of a recognized enterprise GenAI certification: Anthropic Claude Certification, Microsoft AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer), Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, SAP Business AI Certification, or equivalent program.

  • Experience building or contributing to an internal AI Center of Excellence, GenAI community of practice, or enterprise AI enablement program within a consulting or professional services environment.

  • Prior experience designing and facilitating client-facing AI advisory workshops or co-innovation sessions, with demonstrable outcomes (e.g., client AI roadmap developed, BTP AI Core pilot initiated, GenAI use case backlog defined).
