Overview
LMI is seeking a highly skilled Information Assurance and Lifecycle Manager to provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) services in support of the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH) Project Office (PO). This position supports the development, production, fielding, and sustainment of the AH-64 Apache by ensuring weapon system information assurance (IA) and IT system lifecycle management align with operational requirements.
The Information Assurance and Lifecycle Manager will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of IA practices for mission-critical systems while ensuring compliance with DoD and Army standards. Additionally, the manager will implement IT systems support solutions throughout the lifecycle, ensuring proper integration with security protocols, operational goals, and evolving mission requirements.

Responsibilities
Information Assurance Management:
  • Implement and oversee information assurance (IA) processes for weapon systems and IT platforms throughout the lifecycle, maintaining compliance with DoD and Army information assurance policies.
  • Ensure Communications Security (COMSEC) software is properly deployed on AH-64 platforms across all line item numbers and configurations.
  • Conduct assessments to identify security risks and propose mitigation strategies to enhance system protection and reliability.

IT Lifecycle Planning and Support:
  • Identify, plan, and recommend IT systems lifecycle support solutions, including facilities, hardware, software, documentation, manpower, and personnel necessary for mission-critical operations.
  • Implement support adjustments to meet evolving mission requirements and ensure system operability across the lifecycle.

Resource Integration:
  • Oversee integration of IT systems and resources to align with mission readiness, training effectiveness, and security requirements.
  • Plan and recommend IT solutions for Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) hosting and delivery, ensuring compatibility with Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).

Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including Product Managers, technical teams, and government representatives, to establish effective IA protocols and IT system solutions.
  • Provide input on the engineering and development processes to enhance system reliability and usability across mission operations.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Expertise:
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of professional relevant experience, with at least 2+ years working with Army Aviation, Information Technology, system automation, or intelligent systems.
  • Proven expertise in information assurance management, particularly for mission-critical weapon systems and defense IT platforms.
  • Experience with IT systems lifecycle management, including hardware and software support for secure operations.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity regulations, including Information Assurance policies and COMSEC practices.
  • Familiarity with engineering and development processes for military IT systems, including configuration audits and validation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage IT operations and optimize system performance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate IA and IT support across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with AH-64 Apache weapon systems and their associated IT lifecycle requirements.
  • Proficiency in Army IT tools like Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).
  • Experience in Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) integration and lifecycle hosting solutions.
  • Background in developing statements of work (SOWs) and lifecycle cost projections to improve IT system sustainability.

The target salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000.
The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
