- Review and analyze construction documents to identify scope requirements, design discrepancies, and quantity impacts.
- Support estimators by providing detailed quantity reports and model-based takeoff information.
- Update models as bid documents are revised throughout the estimating process.
- Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files received from owners, architects, and engineers.
- Interface with estimators, project managers, and operations personnel to understand project requirements and implement modeling solutions.
- Support ongoing project planning, constructability reviews, and preconstruction efforts through effective modeling practices.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities for AGTEK modeling and On-Screen Takeoff (OST) to expand estimating support capabilities.
- Maintain organized project files, models, and quantity takeoff documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar construction modeling applications.
- Experience developing models from construction documents for quantity takeoff and estimating purposes.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other estimating support tools.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Understanding of structural concrete construction methods, sequencing, and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, structural drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
- Experience performing or supporting quantity takeoffs and estimating workflows.
- Strong experience with 3D modeling in a construction, engineering, or preconstruction environment.
