For over four decades, AWT has specialized in providing cost-effective and environmentally responsible wastewater and engineering solutions for residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and agricultural industries.
Our team focuses on practical problem-solving, strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality work built on sound scientific and engineering principles.
As our company continues to grow, we are looking to add a motivated and dependable Wastewater Technician Inspector to our Raleigh-area operations.
Pay 
  • $40,000–$50,000 annually depending on experience 
  • Additional compensation may be considered for candidates with prior certifications or directly related experience 
Schedule 
  • Full-time 
  • Monday–Friday 
  • Approximately 40 hours per week 
  • Hybrid-style work environment 
  • Approximately: 
    • 70% field work 
    • 30% office/reporting responsibilities 
  • This position primarily services the greater Raleigh, NC area and surrounding locations within approximately a 50-mile radius.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Conducting well and septic inspections for home sale transactions and maintenance clients 
  • Preparing detailed inspection reports and documentation 
  • Communicating professionally with clients via phone and email 
  • Assisting with septic system layouts and field projects 
  • Supporting advanced treatment unit operations and septic startups 
  • Managing assigned daily workload and scheduling responsibilities 
  • Operating independently in the field while maintaining company standards 
  • Maintaining accurate records and timely reporting
