As a Physical Therapist at Core & Agility, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations to assess their physical conditions and movement capabilities.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on the diagnosis of movement dysfunction and taking into account each patient's unique circumstances.
• Implementing therapeutic exercise techniques and educating patients on their effective use to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilizing modalities such as stimulation or massage to enhance patient healing and comfort.
• Assisting patients in navigating their home environments using tools like walkers or wheelchairs safely and effectively.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential patient records, tracking progress towards defined goals and modifying treatment plans as needed.
• Providing guidance to patients and their families about in-home exercises and treatment options to support ongoing recovery.

Your expertise will cater to a diverse clientele, including both children and adults along with those managing chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and various neuromuscular issues. Your role encompasses addressing a wide range of diagnoses from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive, individualized care in the comfort of their own environment.

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for patient documentation.
• A flexible, agile mindset to adapt to the varying needs of patients.

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is required, we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds. Specialties in pediatrics or geriatric therapy are advantageous but not mandatory.
