Job Description LeverageTek is actively seeking an Agile Project Manager for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa, ON-based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON. Key Tasks Lead Agile and Waterfall project planning, execution, and delivery activities Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and quarterly planning sessions Develop and maintain annual objectives (OKRs), quarterly delivery plans, project schedules, and milestone tracking Coordinate work across multiple teams while managing project dependencies and competing priorities Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reporting Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, implementing mitigation strategies as required Build strong relationships with business, technology, vendor, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery expectations Remove impediments and support teams in achieving delivery commitments Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement Drive process improvements that enhance team effectiveness and overall delivery performance Key Qualifications Demonstrated experience developing and managing project and delivery plans in both Agile and Waterfall environments Strong facilitation skills with experience leading Agile ceremonies and cross-functional planning sessions Proven ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints Qualifications Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to align business and technology teams Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive successful delivery outcomes Scrum Master and/or Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, DASSM, or equivalent) Experience delivering projects within the financial services, banking, insurance, or payments industry Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Planview, and Mural Experience working within enterprise-scale technology and digital transformation initiatives Reliability Status security clearance or eligibility to obtain prior to start date Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
