Agile Delivery Lead
The Opportunity:
As an Agile Delivery Lead, you are driven by outcomes and committed to enabling a development team that is modernizing critical systems and improving operational efficiency. You understand the value of strong Agile practices and know how to anticipate challenges early, keeping work on track, on time, and on budget. This work is performed in a secure, cleared environment supporting a high-impact mission. We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead who can help deliver effective solutions for our client.
In this role, you will guide and coach the development team to perform at its highest level. You will help remove blockers, ensure steady progress across initiatives, and reinforce Agile principles with both the team and key stakeholders. You will execute Agile and Kanban methodologies throughout the product lifecycle, support teams in developing and adhering to their working agreements, and facilitate progress through the SDLC. You will lead Scrum ceremonies, coordinate project intake meetings, identify and address impediments, and promote quality-focused Agile practices. You will also foster cross-team collaboration, provide constructive feedback, assist in risk management, and serve as a reliable point of communication for both the team and stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and sustained delivery momentum.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting IT programs or technical project delivery
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a Kanban environment, including Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog management, SDLC tracking, documentation, reporting, and team collaboration
  • Experience coordinating customer intake sessions, scope refinement, roadmap planning meetings, and technical working sessions
  • Experience identifying, managing, and communicating dependencies, risks, blockers, and action items to support successful software delivery
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting U.S. government, Department of War (DoW), or Federal software development contracts
  • Experience coaching Agile teams on continuous improvement and Agile best practices
  • Experience facilitating collaboration across geographically distributed or cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
