Job description

SUMMARY:

Direct and coordinate all mining production operations while maintaining strict oversight of safety and environmental standards. Manage the acquisition, setup, upkeep, and storage of all facility plant and equipment. Provide leadership and supervision in alignment with the organization’s established code of conduct.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advance safety awareness and continuous improvement per company initiatives.

  • Ensure full compliance with government regulations and industry safety protocols.

  • Oversee comprehensive aggregate production facility operations, including quarry development, crushing, material handling, and subcontractor management.

  • Manage daily construction aggregates operations to produce high-quality materials while maintaining cost-efficiency.

  • Direct personnel in conventional production tasks and supervise daily activities within the mining environment.

  • Utilize strong leadership to manage multiple shifts and make decisions based on corporate policies and business plans.

  • Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 7 years aggregates operations management.

  • Proven expertise in aggregate production management and a deep understanding of mining equipment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of MSHA regulations and a dedicated commitment to workplace safety.

  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize complex tasks.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and foster employee ownership of quality and production goals.

  • Strong financial, communication, and supervisory skills.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
