Pay Range: $51,580.00 - $63,620.00
This position is responsible for testing
aggregate products to ensure State compliance.

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QC Tech to support quality assurance initiatives across aggregate operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while partnering closely with operations, sales, and external stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform quality control testing and sampling of aggregate products at production sites and customer locations.
  • Analyze test results, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to support product quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate and oversee quality assurance activities while promoting adherence to testing standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to address quality concerns and support customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Up to 75% travel out of state.
  • Must be willing and able to be certified in 4 states.
What Are We Looking For
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aggregate testing methods, quality control practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant industry or state certifications as required.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to use testing equipment, technology, and data management systems.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills for working with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must have aggregate operations experience
Work Environment
  • Work is performed in laboratory, quarry, plant, and outdoor job site environments.
  • Regular lifting, material sampling, standing, walking, and climbing may be required.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and moving equipment is expected.
  • Occasional overtime and travel between operational and customer locations may be required.
