About Us

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in the operation of stone processing plants, including startup, shutdown, and overall plant operation.
  • Inspect, monitor, and operate conveyors, screens, and crushers; identify and report operating issues and oversized stone.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including minor repairs, adjustments, inspections, and lubrication of plant equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety by performing general cleanup around the plant and equipment areas.
  • Complete additional miscellaneous duties as assigned to support plant operations.

What Are We Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
  • Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Prior experience operating mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
