Job description

Goyette Mechanical is a reputable mechanical contracting company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. With a strong presence in the industry, Goyette Mechanical has been serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients for 95 years! 


The team is seeking multiple QA/AC Leads to support construction projects in Northwest Indiana. 

The QA/QC Agent Position 

The QA/QC Agent performs field inspections on active construction projects to verify that work is installed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes. The QA/QC Agent documents observations, deficiencies, and progress in tracking systems and communicates findings to QA/QC leadership and project teams to support timely resolution. 

The QA/QC Agent works closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure consistent quality standards across all trades. This role also supports QA/QC meetings, jobsite walks, and continuous improvement efforts through accurate documentation, issue resolution, and adherence to quality processes. 

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the QA/QC Agent Position

  • 1–2+ years of mechanical systems experience (plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC) and/or QA/QC experience 
  • Mission-critical construction experience preferred  
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.  
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate documentation and reporting.  
  • Experience with spreadsheets and tracking tools (Excel and/or similar systems).  
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify problems, and support practical field solutions.  
  • Proficiency in Procore preferred
