Warehouse Associate
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Receive, store, and track inventory accurately.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders.
  • Monitor and replenish warehouse supplies as needed.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Report damaged or defective products to management.
  • Assist with inventory investigations and resolve shipment issues.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Follow warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping guidelines.
  • Report any safety or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Assist and oversee visitors, employees, and contractors in the warehouse.
  • Participate in team meetings and complete other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of forklift experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Shipping and receiving experience is a plus.
  • Experience with high-reach trucks is a bonus.
Skills:
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must have 20/20 vision or corrected vision.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working in different temperature conditions.
