About the Opportunity

Farmers Insurance District 36 is recruiting Agency Owners through the enhanced Retail Program, effective July 2026. This opportunity is designed for entrepreneurs, business owners, sales professionals, and experienced leaders interested in building and operating their own multi-line insurance agency under the Farmers brand.

As an Agency Owner, you are an independent contractornot an employee of Farmers Insurance. You will build and manage your own business while receiving access to Farmers products, training, and support from District 36.

Responsibilities

As a Farmers Agency Owner, you will:

Build and operate a multi-line insurance agency offering Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, Umbrella, and Specialty insurance products.

Recruit, train, and lead your own team.

Develop business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and local partnerships.

Manage agency operations, client relationships, and long-term business growth.

Represent the Farmers brand with professionalism and a customer-focused approach.

The Retail Program (Effective July 2026)

The Retail Program includes:

36-month bonus structure designed to support income during the agency-building phase.

Up to 340% monthly bonus on qualifying new business premium.

Up to $3.5 million in cumulative program earning potential.

Access to Farmers' full portfolio of insurance products.

Training, coaching, and ongoing support from District 36 leadership.

Must reside in or be willing to build an agency within the Greater Austin/Central Texas market.

Alternative Pathways to Ownership

Candidates who do not currently meet the standard capital requirement may qualify through one of the following programs:

Protg Program

Work within an established Farmers agency, complete licensing and structured training, and prepare to transition into agency ownership. Qualified graduates may receive reduced or waived capital requirements.

Associate Agent Path

Develop production within an existing agency while gaining experience to transition into ownership.
